Sustainability
At Manucor, sustainability is not an option but a core principle. We believe that economic growth and environmental protection must go hand in hand, creating conditions where communities and nature coexist in harmony.
Our commitment translates into concrete actions

Energy Saving
Continuous investments in cogeneration and trigeneration since 1999 to reduce energy use and emissions.

Reduce
Lighter packaging, thinner films, and extended shelf life to cut raw material consumption, logistics impact and food waste.

Recycle & Reuse
Recovery and reuse of up to 90% of wooden packaging, regeneration of resins up to 30%, and recycling of plastic scraps to minimize disposal.

Future-oriented
Permanent focus on efficiency, yield of virgin materials, and innovative technologies for more sustainable products.
Every year, our progress is verified through independent environmental reports, ensuring transparency and accountability
Technology

Our Production Plant
Manucor operates one of the largest and most efficient BOPP film production sites in Europe. The head office and manufacturing facilities are located in a single site in Sessa Aurunca (CE), Italy, strategically positioned near major ports to ensure smooth logistics.

Energy Efficiency
Energy efficiency is a cornerstone of the site: the trigeneration plant, powered by natural gas, generates 8.7 MW of electricity while reusing heat to reduce fuel consumption. Thanks to this system, the plant has obtained the High Efficiency Cogeneration certification (CAR) and participates in the national White Certificates program.

Production Capabilities
With a nameplate capacity of 90,000 tons per year, the plant is equipped with four production lines and advanced metallizing units, offering a broad portfolio of solid, cavitated, metallized, coextruded and specialty films. Continuous investments in technology upgrades allow Manucor to guarantee quality, flexibility and innovation across its range.
